What: Drawing for Peace is all about bringing people together to collaborate on art projects, drawing giant sketches on the sand around the world. Working together for art and life, people can stay away from conflicts, fights and frustrations and enjoy life in the moment, step by step, mark by mark, sharing a common goal where they can find joy both in their own contributions and in the final result that could only be accomplished through the harmonious collaboration of all the team. >
Why: Because this event brings people together, and helps you find the joy in collaborating with others and building step by step something that goes beyond our individual dimension.
When: Javier Ideami organizes Drawing for Peace Art Performances around the world regularly. If you are interested in having a Drawing for Peace event organized in your country or city contact ideami@ideami.com
What to bring: Bring your energy and enthusiasm! If you have any stick that can help you draw in the sand bring it as well.
Different ways to Join: You can attend this event in 3 different ways:
1) Core team: the ones doing the drawing, you have to commit to stay from beginning to end and collaborate and work with the others.
2) Media team: taking photos and video, contribute by taking photography and/or video of the process and the result
3) Watching team, just coming to watch and enjoy the day and the picnic
If you want to participate, let us know in which of those three you want to be in
