Erase Love

Javier Ideami directed a team of 30 in Bali, Indonesia.
Synopsis: In the year 2500, two sisters try to outsmart each other as they attempt to figure out why and which one of them will be sent away by their ailing father after their mother's sudden death.
The sisters have been suspecting for a while that they are different from the other children of their age. As they become more unsettled during their conversation, they try to justify and project their fears on each other; in that process they discover something that becomes a threat to their own survival and poses a question about their true nature, who they really are. At that moment there will be a confrontation between the love they feel for each other as sisters and their instinct to survive. A struggle that ultimately brings them to a dramatic ending.

Javier Ideami directed a team in Bali, Indonesia. The film is a surreal drama about a man on his way to the hospital where his wife is dying after a car accident. On his way across the balinese fields the man imagines that he meets his wife.

Javier Ideami directed a team of 40 in this film that reflects on how fear can distort our view of ourselves and the world around us.
La última cena / The last dinner (Synopsis and concept)
(Of how fear caused by events or traumas can distort our view of reality, and often how once we face that fear, we see it for what it really is - a figment of our imagination less potent and menacing than we first thought)
A man hides in a building from an army that is searching for him (The army represents Fear). The man reaches a window and he prepares to commit suicide as he feels there is no escape from
his situation; In those last moments the man doubts if he is to jump or not, and inside his mind he tries to imagine what his future would be in a final desperate attempt to seek out any hope beyond
the fear that chases him;
Through a symbolic dinner, the man and a projection of himself in old age will together search for the strength and the courage that will allow him to face his fear, so that they can stimulate an awakening that allows him to see what really is within that fear (What is there over those boots that chase him everywhere? who is carrying those boots?)
To look deeply at life provides understanding, and this understanding frees us from fear (To look and to listen deeper.. so that the veils that blind us dissolve...)

Ideami directed this film in the volcanic island of Lanzarote near Africa. The film reflects about how obsessions can trap our souls and how people fight to escape them.

A metaphore about obsession. A girl contemplates a framed photograph of a volcanic landscape . The artwork gradually captures her until she appears inside of it. Once there the animal atmosphere inside the landscape will start to absorb the girl´s personality. She will try to escape from the landscape but the landscape becomes a prison. The rest of the film shows that delicate exchange between being and not being in the thing she is obsessed with, living more inside that outside, the photograph becoming the only thing that is mostly present in her mind but also the small cracks on the landscape that somewhere remain open showing the path back to balance and peace of mind.

Synopsis
The film is made of 4 scenes with no pauses in between: Cruelty, Desire, Loneliness & Understanding - A butterfly killed by a man will reappear in front of him as a beautiful girl that escapes across the fields chasen by him. The man travels through the mountains searching for the girl until he finds her at one of the peaks. After climbing the peak he and the girl will meet and the man will face his past cruelty when he understands what the girl and the butterfly share as living beings . This understanding will be the rebirth of the man´s soul making possible that even though past actions cannot be changed, the soul can still find peace by the observation and understanding of ourselves and the world around us.

The Moontamer is sent by the sun to tame the moon when a very very long time ago the Moon used to have the ambition to be queen not just of the night but also of the day. The Sun created the Moontamer to control the moon and keep her forever tied to the darkness of the night.

Ego is the story of a man devoured by his Ego. We see how his heart leaves him not having anymore space to live within his soul. when this happens the man becomes harsh and totally empty of love. When looking at the ocean at his own reflection, a giant emerges from the waters, it is his own self-image, giant, enormous just as his ego is. the man horrified finally understands that his interior giant is destroying everything and he falls in tears to the ground. The Understanding brings back his heart and his inner child is reborn as his soul gets a new chance to shine.
